Data Deletion

You have the right to delete every piece of data BoostBirga has stored about you and your Instagram Business account. We support two paths: automatic via Facebook and manual via email.
1. Automatic — Facebook Settings
- Open Facebook on web or mobile, go to Settings → Apps and Websites.
- Find BoostBirga in the list of connected apps.
- Click Remove. Facebook will send us an authenticated “data deletion request” signal.
- Within 30 days (typically minutes) we delete every row associated with your account: stored Instagram tokens, automation rules, inbox events, and account metadata. Aggregated, anonymised analytics may be retained.
- You will receive a confirmation code at our deletion-status endpoint which Facebook will use to verify completion.
2. Manual — email request
If you cannot use the Facebook flow (for example, you signed in with Google and never connected an Instagram account), email us at privacy@ustemirov.uz from the address registered on your account. Subject line: “Delete my BoostBirga data”. We respond within 7 days and complete the deletion within 30 days, GDPR-compliant.
3. What gets deleted
- Your account record (Google sign-in identity, profile fields).
- Every connected Instagram Business account record and its encrypted access tokens.
- All automation rules and workflow graphs you created.
- All inbound DM events, comments, and delivery logs.
- Any media you uploaded (images / video / voice clips) and their MinIO objects.
4. What is retained
- Aggregated, anonymised usage counters (e.g. “total messages sent across all tenants this month”) — these carry no identity information.
- Database backups, for up to 30 days, after which they are rotated out automatically. Restore-from-backup events trigger a re-deletion of your records.
- Web server access logs (IP address, request path) — 7 days, for security incident investigation.
5. Effect
Once deletion is complete, your active automation rules stop firing immediately. You can reconnect later, but the previous rules and inbox history will not be recoverable.
